This is an original woodblock print, hand-pulled from a limited edition of 50 prints. Details: ”Rasputin” •printmaking ink on fine art paper •signed and numbered under the image •print size" 16"H x 12"W •image size: 10.25"H x 8"W the process: After drawing my design, the image is carved into wood using chisels and gouges. Once the carving is complete, ink is rolled onto the surface of the block. Next, paper is placed on top of the block, and I use a hand tool to apply pressure, forcing the ink onto the paper. The result is the reverse image transferred to paper. My work is inspired by nature, my everyday surroundings, and a collection of old photographs. I show in galleries and exhibitions in addition to selling directly from my studio.
