A beautiful pair of hand painted large scale giltwood rectangle chinoiserie panels. A sophisticated design with chinoiserie inspired masks, characters, scrolled elements and botanical scenes. Each panel measures 48 in tall and 24 in width, gilded surface, oil on wood, displayed unframed. Appears in good condition, with slight intentionally distressed finish to imitate the age.
