A fine pair of pewter plaques with applied brass decoration of vases with flowers and with a unique Asian style border on the top and bottom. The brass flowers and vases have engraved details throughout. The pewter brass panels are applied to a wooden frame. The back of both panels are stamped “Made in Hung Kong” and both have an old sticker - BW 18- probably an inventory/collection number. 18” x 18” x 12” Excellent condition with light surface scratching. There is some discoloration to the pewter from having been polished at some point in their history. There is a small patch of corrosion on the bottom right of one of the panels. I have not cleaned them but I assume they will clean up nicely.
