Paolo Minoli, These Few Notes In Light, Italy, 1989, Plywood & Acrylic

Chairish

$6,371

Paolo Minoli (Cantù, Como) is a leading exponent of Italian geometric abstraction. He graduated as a Master of Art from the Cantù Art Institute in 1961, where he taught from 1964 to 1978. Beginning in the 1970s, he developed a rigorous language based on color, rhythm, and geometric construction, participating in numerous exhibitions dedicated to analytical painting and abstract research. The work consists of two panels, each 50 × 50 cm, made of acrylic on a white background. The composition is structured through a network of horizontal and vertical lines that define chromatic modules alternating in length and intensity. The intersecting backgrounds generate a rhythmic grid that recalls the principles of seriality and variation typical of Minoli's work. The two canvases interact as a single visual unit, with a balanced distribution of geometric relationships and colors. The work is in excellent condition. The artist's signature, date, and title are on the back. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
