Paul Eliasberg was born on April 17, 1907 in Munich. Eliasberg began studying art in Berlin in 1924. In 1926 Eliasberg moved to Paris, where he ended his studies in 1928 at the Ranson Academy as a student of Bissière. In 1947 Paul Eliasberg became a French citizen. In his delicate etchings, Eliasberg mainly devotes himself to landscape and architecture. At the Städelschule in Frankfurt, the artist teaches from 1966-1970. Paul Eliasberg died in Hamburg on January 10, 1983.
