Matisse and Bonnard greatly influenced his artistic production. He used bright colours and vigorous brushstrokes. He exhibited at the Musée d’Orsay, Art Moderne de Ville de Paris, the National Library in France, the Besançon Fine Arts Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the New Otani Museum in Japan. He was awarded the Prix de Rome.
