Figures is an original drawing artwork realized in France by Paul Hermann (1879 - 1969). Two drawings on one sheet, on the rear are study of figures and the front two elderly meeting, Hand-signed by the artist in pencil on the lower left corner: Paul Hermann. Good conditions, except for a small folding and hole on the lower right and yellowish diffused stains. The artwork in a satiric style depicted several figures in the center of a composition, through quick and deft strokes, each face shows specific feeling and has a authentic traits, evokes comic characters. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
