A finely-painted and period watercolor showing lights reflected in calm harbor waters beneath clouded, slate and blue skies and with a view beyond towards lavender-tinged hills. Signed "Art McWhorter" (American, 20th century). Art McWhorter studied at the American Artist's Professional League in New York. A member of the American Watercolor Society and the Society of Western Artists, he exhibited widely and with success and was the recipient of numerous medals, prizes and juried awards.
