Peter Keil is a German artist who focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats, including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a fabulous, classic black and white abstract face executed with paint on paper. It is signed “P. Keil” in the lower right corner. This piece was purchased by the Bowen family as a routine purchase directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear.
