Peter Keil is a German artist who focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats, including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a fabulous piece featuring "The Portrait of Doctor Felix Ray" by Vincent Van Gogh as the background print, and executed with paint on paper. It is signed “P. Keil” in the lower right corner. This piece was purchased by the Bowen family as a routine purchase directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear.
