Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the best including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a fantastic painting executed on canvas like cloth that was stretched like canvas. Often times, Keil painted on cloth he had when he could not afford canvas. It is signed “P. Keil” in the lower right corner and was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear.
