Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a unique, colorful piece executed on canvas and is part of Keil’s “Junge Wilde” collection from Berlin. He painted this collection in the late 80’s through the 90’s. This piece is signed “P. Keil” in the lower left corner. It was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear.
