Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a gorgeous and unique piece from Keil’s “Junge Wilde” collection he created in Berlin. This piece is signed “P. Keil” in the lower left corner and executed on a canvas-like cloth. Oftentimes, Keil painted on cloth before being able to afford canvas. This piece was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear.
