Forest is an original Brown-colored woodcut print on paper realized by Pierre-Eugène Vibert (1875-1937), Hand-signed on the palate on lower left. The state of preservation of the artwork is very good Sheet dimension: 22.5 x 13 cm. The artwork represents a forest with a small cottage in it with a seated man outside, through skillful lines intentionally and brown color and trees created a feeling of autumn beautifully. Pierre-Eugene Vibert (1875-1937), He is well-know for being skilled wood engraver,and painter, in 1893 moved to Paris and spent most of his career there, exhibiting his art at the prestigious Paris Salon in 1900 and was awarded a gold medal at the 1903 Exposition Universalle. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
