Pierre J. Martin (American - Hudson River Valley) Salt Point, New York architectural landscape oil painting of a farm house with a cat on the lawn, signed and dated 1949. Painted in a monochromatic palette of pinks and greens with white accents. The house has shutters and gingerbread detail on the porches. Board measures 18" x 12". Good condition - there is small loss of paint on the clapboard to the upper left corner of the door and to the outer edges of the painting. Unframed.
