Pierre Mortier, also called Pieter Mortier (Leiden, 1661 - Amsterdam, 1711). He was a Dutch designer, well-known for his activity as a bird's eye map illustrator. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
