Early 20th Century Print reproduction of Thomas Lawrence's "Pinkie" in a baroque style brass frame and elevated with this beautiful convex glass to add depth to the print. Sarah Goodin Barrett Moulton: "Pinkie" Judith Barrett commissioned this painting of her granddaughter to ease the pain of the child's absence. Sarah, known to her family as "Pinkie", was raised in the British colony of Jamaica and was sent to England for schooling. "Pinkie" and "Blue Boy", by Thomas Gainsborough, are paired together at the San Marino Art Museum, even though "Pinkie" was painted 24 years after "Blue Boy". We do have both "Pinkie" and "Blue Boy" in the same baroque brass frame. "Pinkie" has a few visible imperfections, one being some dried up wall paint on the very bottom of the brass frame (see pictures), and the second is some wear consistent with age on the felt backing. Let me know if you have any additional questions. Thank you.
