Antique engraving after the original painting by J. Williams. Engraved and printed by Antonio Testa (Italian, b. 1775) whose works are curated at the Royal Academy of Arts, The Met, and The British Museum. Set in a black frame with good quality linen matting. This item depicts a boat landing in an unknown destination, perhaps North Africa. Date of production is estimated to be c. 1816. Not inspected outside of the frame. The print is in very good antique condition with age related toning, etc. Minor abrasions to the fame. This item has not been examined outside of the frame. The frame dimensions are 17.5" x 15" x 1". The mat opening is 11.5" x 8.5".
