A 14er is a mountain peak that rises above 14,000 feet in elevation. Pyramid Peak is part of the Elk Mountains in Colorado, and sits at an elevation of 14,025 ft. Colorado is home to 53 fourteeners, the most of any state, which are all located on Cheyenne, Arapaho, Ute, and Pueblos lands. This painting was donated to the Cottonwood Institute by artist Mike Wilson.
