Etching of the Park Lane Hotel by artist Ralph Shepard (died circa 1970s). Pencil signed and signed in plate. Shepard was an illustrator in New York and later moved to Cape Cod where he became a marine painter. The original Park Lane Hotel was a massive hotel at 299 Park that engulfed the block between 48th and 49th streets. It was torn down in 1965. A new MCM styled Park Lane was built nearby and is still in operation today. Sheet: 15 x 11.25 inches Plate: 10.5 x 7.75 inches
