An excellent First Edition vintage offset lithograph, print, of still life painting "Fleurs" (Flowers, 1927) by Suzanne Valadon (1865-1938). Comes from a rare First Limited and Only Edition art folio published by Albert Skira in Paris, France in 1947. Signed and dated in the print. Hand tipped-in on a board of heavy paper. Information regarding the original artwork will be found by lifting the piece. Excellent condition of the print, some age wear the board, never framed. Overall 11"W x 15"H Image 8/40"W x 10"H Suzanne Valadon was a French painter and artists' model who was born Marie-Clémentine Valadon at Bessines-sur-Gartempe, Haute-Vienne, France. In 1894, Valadon became the first woman painter admitted to the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts. She was also the mother of painter Maurice Utrillo, several lithographs after whose paintings you can find at our Print Shop
