This publication contained hand colored superb quality illustrations with accurate botanical references and elements. Revue Horticulture images are now extremely difficult to find with the passage of time, especially those in pristine condition. We purchased these two antique chromolithograph images to offer them as a set. The Odontoglossum was first named in 1816 as a genus of orchids. The Clematis patens Sophia is a variety of the popular climbing perennial. They have beautiful quality and are in EXCELLENT pristine condition with soft neutral color tones. They each have clear notations on the plates. They make wonderful wall decor. 6 1/2 x 10 and 5.75 x 8 5/8 inches in size. Each will come in a neutral tone 16 x 20 inch custom mat ready for a standard size frame. Please allow time for custom matting.
