Known as Nodiska Kompaniet, this high-end store was a hub for luxury and modern design in Sweden. Raymond Loewy, a prominent industrial designer, was known for designing similar streamlined interiors for American department stores like Bamberger's and Jay Thorpe during the 1940. The interior showcases the "luxurious style with classicist elements" that was popular in retail design just before the outbreak of World War II. Very good condition.
