Rejang dancers perform the graceful movements of the ceremonial Balinese dance. An ancient temple dance, the Rejang is performed to delight and entertain visiting spirits. Women of all ages form a sacred procession, moving in a slow and stately fashion toward the altar, twirling fans or lifting their sashes. 'This is a scene you will probably see in Tenganan,' says Balinese artist Made Surita.
