This series of drawings deals with memories. I use a somewhat random but purposeful fluidity to create these fantastical images that are partly derived from nature. I work intuitively pulling from both the external world around me as well as the one hidden inside. Drawing has always been important to me—not as a preliminary to a painting—but as a piece of art by itself. These drawings are created with charcoal pencils on acid-free archival paper and are 29 x 22 inches vertical. This piece is not framed. Please inquire if you have any questions at all.
