A stunning oil on canvas portrait of a charming lady adorned with pearl earrings and necklace, clothed in an embroidered and bejeweled gold gown. In good condition with a small area of touch in at the left background. Properly mounted in a gilt Baroque style frame. Unsigned. Provenance: Collection of Bertrand Comte de Comminges and Mary Allen van Rensselaer Thayer, Paris. By descent to their son, Count Elie de Comminges.
