Renoir, Untitled, 1890s, Enamel, Framed, Set Of 3

Chairish

$1,064

Three paintings by Renoir, the French Impressionist painter from 1910, painted in enamel, in excellent condition. They come with their original frames in wood and gilt brass. They measure approximately 26 x 20 cm. Painted and enameled by the highly sought-after artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Beautiful original vintage Renoir paintings from the 1950s. Hand-painted. Pierre-Auguste Renoir's 'A Girl with a Watering Can' (1876) from the Chester Dale Collection/National Gallery of Art, Washington. Antique hand-painted portraits on celluloid. The painting of the girl is the only one signed by Renoir, but I assure you that the other two are also by him. Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) was a French Impressionist painter who, in the second part of his career, focused on painting female figures in landscapes, often inspired by classical Renaissance and Baroque paintings. Renoir offered a more sensual interpretation of Impressionism, more inclined towards the ornamental and the beautiful. His vibrant and luminous palette made him a very special Impressionist. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
