- Renzo Piccoli (1938 - 2026) was an Italian painter deeply connected to the community of Codigoro (Ferrara - Italy), where he lived and worked for most of his artistic life. Born in the same area of the Po Delta, he developed a painting practice primarily focused on still lifes and landscapes, with particular attention to light and the views of local squares and canals. His artistic training and appreciation for painting were inspired by the master of the Delta, Mario Capuzzo. Each work by this artist emerges from a primordial energy, expressed in the momentum of color and movement, with tones chosen instinctively and brushstrokes that follow impulse rather than rules.
