Baroque Rome is an original etching artwork realized in 1965 by the Italian artist Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni (1934-2000). The state of preservation is very good. Tommasi Ferroni's style is recognizable in the fluid hatching, in the deep blacks, and in the metaphysical, visionary, and surreal subject matter. Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni (1934-2000) was an Italian painter and engraver. He was an exponent of the Neo-figurative movement that followed stylistically the Italian painting tradition, in particular Mannerism and Baroque. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
