Ryszard gieryszewski (1936-2021) graduated from the academy of fine arts in warsaw in 1964. He is a member of international association xylon in switzerland. He participated in more than 20 individual exhibitions in poland and italy. Selected awards: 1968,1970 ii and iii prize at festival of fine arts in warsaw, 1988 - grand prix quadriennale of polish woodcut and linocut (olsztyn), 1988 - grand prix i biennale of small painting forms (toruń), 2000 - grand prix - first international bienal „gravuraamadora – portugal”.
