Beautifully soft yet expansive landscape of a river winding through the coastal bluffs of Big Sur, California, by Ken Lucas (American, 20th Century). This piece was acquired from the Lucas estate, "Ken Lucas" on verso. Unframed. Ken Lucas was a school teacher and amateur painter from Monterey, California. He was primarily self-taught but became proficient as an artist and left a legacy of excellent paintings. He was a friend of and painted with Richard Lofton, Carmel Artist.
