Original graphite drawing series by Bob Berks, signed and dated 1962. 18 x 21 framed in matte black wood with a pale gray acid-free mat. There are seven drawings in the series. Sold separately but indeed they would look great together. The condition is rough: the vellum was glued to illustration board and has rippled as a result. I imagine they could be restored. We think the vintage distressed condition adds to the charm. Robert Berks (1922 – 2011) was an American sculptor, industrial designer and planner. Bob was prolific and created numerous sketches, drawings, and paintings; often in service of sculpture and site-planning subjects. He worked for over 50 years in a converted schoolhouse in Orient on the North Fork of Long Island, NY.
