Franco-Belgian artist born in 1921 in Paris. The paint shows a red Dutch red mill. The canvas is framed and in very good condition. The painter signed downwards and back on the canvas. Vandenbulcke was an active member of the National Society of Fine Arts, the salons of French artists and the Society of Independents. His works were exhibited at numerous individual and collective exhibitions, as for example in the Galerie Bernheim-Jeune-Dauberville Paris (1959), the Galerie Henaut Paris (1961, 1963, 1967, 1970 and 1972) and the Katia Granoff Paris Galerie (1990). The technique used by Roger Vandenbulcke is that of work in full dough. Its animated compositions have contrasted momentum and tones.
