Angiolo or Angiolino Romagnoli, (Borgo San Lorenzo, 1836 -1890) Florence-Italy was an Italian painter, a pupil of Giuseppe Bezzuoli and attended the Academy of Fine Arts with Benedetto Servolini. He exhibited in numerous shows in Italy, particularly in Turin, Milan and Rome. He was part of the Macchiaioli painters. The painting depicts a Man's Face. On the original frame of the painting, at the top, you can read: A. Romagnoli Studio viale Gagenio 20 Florence. At the bottom of the frame you can read: portrait of T.L. Anselmi. The painting is in excellent condition, over 140 years old, with an antique Italian frame from the late 19th century. The dimensions, including the frame, are: height 78 cm, width 64 cm, depth 4 cm.
