The theme of inside and outside spaces is a common one for me. Working from life, I reduce the composition to geometric shapes to emphasize color, space, and light. I worked on this painting a long time and the paint surface is a bumpy crusty texture. The sides are painted. It is wired for hanging. Ships in a box.
