Includes the 4 fish: Mummichog, Fall Fish, Black Nosed Dace, and the Common White Sucker. Then there is the Muscalonge. The two fish are Dog-Fish, Mud-Fish, Bow-Fin or Grindle. The top figure is the female; lower is the male. And lastly, you have the White Fish. The prints themselves measure 9 1/2" x 12". They are matted and displayed in a frame measuring 13 1/2" x 16". Sherman Foote Denton was a watercolor artist and author who created designs for various species of North American fish and wildlife. He worked for the United States Fish Commission at the Smithsonian Institute between 1896 and 1890.
