Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a pair of classic black and white paintings executed on board. The first is signed “P. Keil” in the upper left corner and the second is signed “P. Keil” in the upper right corner. These pieces were purchased by the Bowen family as a routine purchase directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear.
