It is in excellent condition. About the artist: Sharon Galligan (American, b. 1939) is an artist painting in watercolor, oil, acrylic, monoprint and mixed media. She was an art major in both high school and college: San Jose State University, West Valley College, and Evergreen College. She has also studied with nationally noted artists and teachers, including Ted Goeschner, Frank Webb, Charles Movali, Howard Rees, Tom Lynch, Dale Laitinen, Marilyn Simandle, and Tom Hill. Her travels and workshops in the United States and Europe are a constant source of inspiration and subject matter for Galligan's art. Landscapes, street scenes, flower shops, vineyards, lavender fields, boats and fishing villages, children at play, and a personal favorite, machinery. Her style ranges from realism to impressionism to occasional abstract. Galligan is a consistent award winner in national and international art shows.
