Small mid 20th century watercolor on paper abstract painting in teal, pink and yellow by Naomi Boretz (1935–2023) American. Signed in pencil lower left corner. Unframed, age toning, tape remains on verso. Boretz received a bachelor's degree from Brooklyn College in 1957. In 1971 she earned an MFA degree in studio art from the City University of New York, followed by master's degree in art history from Rutgers University. Her work is included in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum[3] the Metropolitan Museum of Art[4] and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
