While my daughter went off to ski I painted out the back of my car. It was so cold darn cold at Snow Bowl in Flagstaff, AZ. The trees were bare with ice covering every branch. I tried to capture the crunch, the dripping, the cold, my freezing fingers and the beautiful blue sky against the dark rocks.
