Soicher Marin pair of Johan Jacob Baumgartner (1681-1721) blue decorative scenes with figures. Signed in plate, they are most likely plates from his first book of designs for goldsmiths' ornaments, 1720-1735. Printed in Augsburg. One features a male figure standing in a landscape holding a flower. The second with a male figure walking in a landscape as he holds a lute and a goblet. Both are within scrolled cartouches decorated with flowers and putti. Presented mounted on blue backings in gilt and wood frames.
