I painted Somewhere Out There to capture the feeling of looking toward a future full of possibility. The painting shows a young boy from behind, wearing a black bucket hat and looking out over a vibrant blue ocean. This perspective represents the dreams we all carry for what lies beyond the horizon. The bright blues of the water and the lush greens of the grass symbolize growth and the vastness of the world waiting to be explored. I used high-contrast tones on the figure to show the "inner glow" and strength of a young spirit facing the unknown. It is a tribute to innocence, curiosity, and the hope that keeps us moving toward the things we haven't found yet.
