The Virgin appears in a prayerful attitude, dressed in a white tunic and blue mantle, surrounded by cherubs carrying lilies, palm branches, and a half-moon, symbols of purity and the Immaculate Conception. The delicacy of the face, the compositional balance, and the luminous background atmosphere are striking, characteristic of Sevillian painting inspired by Murillo's Baroque. The canvas presents homogeneous old crackling and a warm patina, with no visible overpainting. Mounted on a reinforced stretcher frame and accompanied by a later gilt frame in good condition.
