Harbour is an original etching on paper realized by Italian artist Stefano Della Bella (1610 –1664). Plate signed on the lower left. Included a Passepartout: 40 x 60 cm Titled on the lower center. The state of preservation is excellent. The artwork depicted by delicate, short, and soft strokes, through perfect hatching. The artist's efforts indicate the perfect applying of aesthetic features. Stefano Della Bella (17 May 1610 – 12 July 1664) was an Italian draughtsman and printmaker known for etchings of a great variety of subjects. Returning to Florence in 1650, he resumed working under the protection of the Medici court, working for his patrons; he creates title pages, illustrations of feasts and views that enhance the Medici splendors. In 1656 he became a member of the Apatistas' Academy. Stefano Della Bella has left us over a thousand engravings. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
