A painter in the French Impressionist tradition, Boris Cenic was born in 1921 in the former Yugoslavia, and came to Paris, France in 1948 as a refugee.  The artist has painted an incredible cityscape that is extremely typical of his oeuvre, with jagged black lines defining the forms of the building’s rooftops and outlines of regular people going about their daily life. The painting is housed in a gold wooden frame with linen matting. The painting is in extremely good condition with minor wear to frame due to prior handling.
