This is a six part series that can be purchased in its entirety or as individual works. They are paintings on wallpaper which serves as a primary grid. Stencils are used as well as graphite and oil paint. Paint is applied and removed to showcase the negative space of the flower stencil in addition to the positive application of the flower. The visual intent is to display renewal, decay, the power of color, and the power of the line. The wallpaper is applied to an 11 x 14 cradle-sided board with the sides being 1.5 inches. This is wired in the back and does not need to be framed.
