Surrounded by a thicket of grass, a shimmering peacock spreads its wings on Ketut Sudantara's beautiful relief panel. The Balinese artisan hand carves the relief panel from local suar wood, carefully creating openwork designs between the blades of grass. Finally, the panel is given a shimmering wash of color in red, gold, and green.
