Garuda, a mythological half God half Beast, is the divine symbol of the Thai Monarch. In 1910, Garuda became the official emblem of Thailand, found on bank notes, flags above residences of royalty, and businesses in good standings. Normally in Red, this statue of Garuda is cast in Gold, bringing a glamour to the symbol's rich history.
