The Greeting is an original artwork realized by Louis Touchagues in the 1970s. Original black and white ink drawing on paper glued on cardboard (32.2 x 25 cm). Hand-signed by the artist on the lower-left corner. Stamp of Atelier Touchagues on cardboard on the lower-left corner. The artwork represents a comic figure in the act of greeting. Louis Touchagues (1893 - 1974) Arriving in Paris in 1923, Touchagues trace the point of his pencil or brush her, half a century of Parisian life. Designer - Illustrator: drawings for fabrics and silks are noticed by Paul Poiret. He collaborates with various illustrated papers (The Living Art, New literary \.) and satirical (Crapouillot, Le Charivari \.).
