In a charcoal-gray handcrafted wood frame, artist Wyanne's abstract canvas wall art of a woman and a bird perched on her hand draws the eye with vibrant strokes of red, teal and yellow. After being diagnosed with stage IV cancer in 2013, the Atlanta-based artist says the experience taught her not to take anything for granted. She makes the most of each moment by painting full time nearly everyday.
